Icy Shore – Quabbin Reservoir

New Years Day 2015 was spent one the southern shore of the Quabbin Reservoir. I was invited by fellow photographers, Holly and Liz the day before. They mentioned a shoot at the Quabbin, and I replied “What time?”. Yes, it was super cold but totally worth it. We set up shop at the end of a road on a rocky shoreline. This particular spot is one of my favorites because of the views of Mount Liz as well as its accessibility. Not to mention the walk to the shore is gorgeous. In spite of the cold, it was nice to try out some techniques and lenses on my surroundings. I am happy with the results, even though it took a while for my fingers and toes to forgive me.
